All About the Tour
What does the tour include ?
A 3-hour guided tour with transportation to/from Kawaguchiko Station. We drive around Lake Kawaguchiko, stopping every 15–20 minutes for sightseeing, photos, and bathroom breaks. Stops may vary depending on weather and day.
Who can drive a kart ?
In order to drive a kart, you must :
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a valid IDP or a driver’s license that is valid in Japan

I’ve never driven in Japan — is that OK?
No worries at all ! Our guide will lead the way in their own kart, all you have to do is follow safely. They will ensure your safety and assist immediately if any issue arises.
What kind of insurance is provided with the experience?
Yes, insurance is included with the tour.
Our tour includes a limited insurance plan at no extra cost.
In the event of any damage to the karts — including bumps, scratches, rough driving, or accidents — a deductible fee of ¥50,000 per vehicle will be charged immediately after the tour.

Do you have two-seater cars?
No, all of our mini karts are single-seaters only.
Is there a height or weight limit to join the mini EV tour?
For your comfort and safety, the maximum height is 200 cm (6'7") and the weight limit is 120 kg (265 lbs). If you're unsure, feel free to contact us before booking!
I don’t have an International Driving Permit, can I still join?
Yes! You can ride in the guide car (regular car) and still enjoy the experience. During the off-road section, you'll have the opportunity to sit in one of our mini karts, take photos, and join the fun during breaks — no driving required! More informations here
Can I bring kids? Are they allowed to drive?
Kids are very welcome to join the tour! They can ride safely in the guide’s car (a regular vehicle) and follow the tour with you.
During the off-road section, children can even sit on a parent’s lap for fun photos. However, kids cannot drive — a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) is required to drive the mini cars.
Price: 15,000 yen per person, cash only on the day.
Can I reserve the car I want?
Unfortunately, we’re not able to guarantee a specific car in advance, as some vehicles may be undergoing maintenance or repairs. On the day of the tour, cars are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
What do I need to bring ?
Please bring the following items for your comfort and safety :
- Passport
- Driver’s License
- International Driving Permit (IDP)
- Sunglasses
- Windbreaker or jacket (it can get windy!)
- Camera or Action Cam
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable and easy to move in for driving.
Please avoid long skirts, high heels, or open-toed sandals.
Since you’ll be exposed to the wind, we recommend dressing slightly warmer than usual and wearing sunglasses for eye protection.
No warm clothes? Don’t worry — we have jackets available if you need one. And if you don’t have sunglasses, we also provide protective glasses on site.
Can I wear a special costume (cosplay)?
Absolutely — cosplay is 100% welcome! We even provide a selection of costumes and fun accessories on site if you’d like to dress up for the tour. Feel free to bring your
own or pick from ours — it's all part of the experience !
What happens if it rains?
You can drive in light rain, but in case of severe weather (e.g. typhoon, heavy snow), we may cancel the tour.If we do, you’ll get a 100% refund or be offered a chance to reschedule.
What payment methods you accept?
We only accept online payment or cash on the day of the tour.
Is there a discount available?
No, the tour has a fixed price.
However, we provide a special package so you can enjoy the best possible Mount Fuji experience. Enjoy a 20% discount on our accommodations when you book a tour with us!
Is accommodation needed for the tour?
If you want to do the morning tour (6-9am) (Best views!) we recommend for you to stay here the night before as there are no buses or trains leaving Tokyo that early.

What is your cancellation policy?
The booking fee is non-refundable. You may reschedule your tour as many times as needed, subject to availability.
If we cancel the tour (e.g. bad weather), you'll receive a full refund.
Can I change my reservation?
Yes, you can change your reservation for free, as long as there’s availability.
How do I get to Kawaguchiko?
Here are some options from Tokyo :
- Highway bus from Shibuya or Shinjuku (reservation required)
- Fuji Excursion Express train from Shinjuku (reservation required)
- Local trains: Shinjuku → Otsuki → Kawaguchiko (no reservation needed)
- Taxi or private hire
Do you provide pickup from Kawaguchiko station?
Yes! We provide both pick-up from Kawaguchiko Station and drop-off after the tour.
Pick-up is scheduled at the start time of your selected slot:
- 6:00 AM for the 6–9 AM tour
- 10:00 AM for the 10 AM–1 PM tour
- 2:00 PM for the 2–5 PM tour
Please make sure to be on time, as any delay may affect your experience as well as that of other participants.

Can I come by car or taxi? Where can I park my vehicle?
Yes, you can come directly by car or taxi!
We have parking available at our glamping site, which is also the starting point of the tour.

How can I get to the glamping site? Do you offer transportation?
You can reach us by car, taxi, or public transport. We also offer pickup services from nearby stations upon request for an additional fee, just let us know when you book!
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM.
Is early check-in or late check-out available?
Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on availability. Please contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Is parking available on-site?
Yes! We have free parking available for all our guests right at the glamping site.
Do I need to bring anything with me (e.g., towels, toiletries)?
We provide towels, bedding, and basic toiletries, so you can travel light and enjoy your stay hassle-free!
Are the tents air-conditioned or heated?
Our tents come with heating for cooler nights, and many have fans or air-conditioning to keep you comfortable year-round.
Do the tents have private bathrooms and showers?
Yes, some tents include private bathrooms and showers. Others have clean, shared facilities nearby. Please check your booking details for your tent’s amenities.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Wi-Fi is currently not available at the site, allowing you to fully disconnect and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Are pets allowed?
We love pets, and some of our rooms are pet-friendly! Please check with us before booking to make sure your furry friend can join safely and comfortably. A cleaning fee of ¥2,000 per pet (maximum of two pets) applies and is payable on site.
Do you offer meals or can we bring our own food and drinks?
We do not provide meals or sell food on site, but you're very welcome to bring your own. We have BBQ facilities and all the necessary equipment available for use, as well as a shared kitchen to help you prepare and enjoy your meals during your stay.
Are there restaurants or convenience stores nearby?
Yes, several restaurants and convenience stores are within a short drive from the glamping site.
Are fireworks allowed?
Yes, handheld fireworks are permitted but only in designated areas. Fireworks can be enjoyed until 9:00 p.m. to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.
Do you offer any guided tours or experiences?
We offer one special experience: an incredible mini EV car tour around Lake Kawaguchi, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding nature in a fun and unique way. It's a guest favorite and a highlight of many stays, don’t miss it!
